If California does this, count on other Democrat-run states to try the same.

Why not make black people demand money from the state or states where their ancestors were enslaved? That would make more sense...although it's a horrible idea from the get-go.

Maybe they can avoid hostile reactions from Asians and Hispanics by having the reparations come from a fund that only white Californians have to pay into. Or maybe only white Californians who had at least one ancestor living in the US before 1865.

At this point, non-Hispanic whites are only about one third of California's population. Of those, many are of Armenian, Jewish, Persian, Italian, Greek, and similar descent. Their ancestors arrived well after the Civil War. There are not enough descendants of pre-Civil War descended whites to support the proposed reparations.
Therefore, the Hispanic and Asian majority, plus the assorted non-Nordic whites, will carry the burden of reparations.

Why should ANY white pay one thin dime? I don’t care where their ancestors are from or when their ancestors came here. Giving out millions based on skin color, and expecting others to pay for it, based on skin color, is the most outrageous and unjust thing to happen in our time.
