I repeat, 18 years of marriage between Camilla and Charles who Charles met and fell in love with before he met Diana, but the relationship was broken up by the royal family as not suitable, isn’t enough time to prove its worth? How many of you Freepers out there had failed first marriages and yours didn’t have to have the seal of approval by a royal family first.
Queen Elizabeth liked Camilla very much; they were both lovers of all things horses, and Camilla is known for her quick wit as was Queen Elizabeth known for, a quick wit. The Queen approved Camilla being given the title of Queen before she died. Camilla also heads many charities, is known for being unassuming and friendly, and has done her royal duties well lo these many years. Give her a break. She has been Charles’ strong right arm and they are each others love of their life.
Kudos to Camilla for parrying the slings and arrows sent her way, and doing her duty as an integral part of the royal family in spite of all the flack she has taken for so long. I totally admire her fortitude and courage. She will be a good Queen.
