When Google first emerged the Lord spoke to me, saying, 'don't go near that company.' I did not really know why - but I followed instructions. Everyone on FR was trying to talk me into joining in. Lately I am bombarded with offers to register on web sites via Google, giving them my passwords. I am constantly going to YouTube to watch suggested videos; they would prefer that I register. I find Google tracking me at times.
They own so much, they may own the food in my freezer. Unreal. I cannot always be sure that I am avoiding Google. I suspect that a smart phone relies on Google to function well; I don't own one... sigh 😏
I worked as systems support r when Google started, and my co-workers were all going to invest. I didn’t have enough. Too bad for me.
I just spent a week with the new Honda Accord. Great car, but it integrates Google and it listens to everything said in the car. My wife said something to me and it popped up, trying to help with whatever it thought she was asking.
I don’t like that.
