"“light” and the “dark” (sun(s))"
Can mean one of two thoughts:
One: related to how they viewed the firmament.
For example: At night they associated our sun with Jupiter.
The association with Saturn. I'm not positive I think that is Sirius. From the story that Saturn was hit by something then left the firmament and came back. Remember the Saturn rings are relatively new.
Two: If there is something in our system it's more likely a black dwarf. My view of a black dwarf it's a burned out white dwarf. Which all stars are made up of Metallic hydrogen. Metallic hydrogen absorbs light. The center of sun spots that black area is actually Metallic hydrogen (extreme density liquid) IE:surface of the sun. (ignoring NASA's mythology)

My head hurts just reading this.
I’m fascinated, but my head hurts. :)

Radio Frequency of Jupiter and Saturn. Which the core is made up of Metallic Hydrogen (even NASA says that)
This report points out sun spots when they're observed admits radio Frequencies. if there is black dwarf in our system. This might be the way to find it.
