The Colorado runs through Colorado, Utah. Arizona, New Mexico, AND California.

Granted I’m not a nuclear energy expert but why can’t we variants of those reactors be used to power many cities in this country, we’ve been a nuclear navy since the 50’s if not sooner

“The thing that makes reactors so safe on subs is the abundance of readily available coolant ......and the fact that if anything really bad happens IT SINKS IN ABOUT 2 MILES DEEP OCEAN WATER which keeps it cool.”

I am sure your thoughts are very reassuring to the sub’s crew!

We can technically but less headache and capital to put up a turnkey gas turbine.

Apparently, what IS Top Secret, is what sailors do all day in tiny subs.

I can’t find any submariners that will tell me.

True but when these environmental Nazis outlaw fossil fuels at that point nuclear power might be the only option

I figured. I was just kidding; you must have missed that artist rendering of the ‘60s mini-sub from the thread the other day.

It was pretty funny, the sailors were in their underwear about to hot cot... for some unknown reason.

It was speculated the AC had failed. XD

The biggest problem with Nuke plants is that there are no economies of scale in construction.

I think you meant to write that there ARE tremendous "economies of scale" waiting to be exploited, but that builders are prevented from attaining them, right?
