Did all MY yard and livestock chores for nothing because it was expected.
Never had the guts to ask for an allowance.
Dad fed and clothed me so that was that.

PLEASE forgive me for not answering everyone personally yet.

I have so much happening I have hardly any time to sleep a bit, let alone eat.

So many programs and phone numbers either go nowhere or I get shuffled off to some other number, and then again.

It’s a labyrinth of frustration.

Okay, I read all of Your answers.

First off hang in there, We’ll get this stuff handled. Like eating an elephant. One bite at a time.

You need to get the 2 leaks fixed the BRAKES being the PRIORITY !!!

The coolant is a concern but Brakes are way more important. Have someone look at it and tell You the exact location and what the repair cost would be with them.

Not all angels have wings.

I don’t deserve y’all but I’m grateful beyond words anyway.

Want to wish the best for you. I’m having someone close to me deal with pretty bad things lately. A lot of terrible things have been going on to those I’ve heard of or know lately. It’s usually been me with the problems and I’m not used to it.

Best wishes and prayers.

If you have a PT Cruiser put some card board under the front end of you find a wet spot near the passenger side front wheel it’s probably a water pump very expensive to replace as you have to pull the front of the motor apart as it runs off the timing belt.if it’s towards the front of the car it could be a water hose or radiator you can get a radiator for around fifty bucks,if you seeno leaks it’s probably a blown head gasket as they are notorious for try some Blue Devil head gasket sealer it’s a toss up if it works or not. Also if you notice your battery going dead sitting just for a day oy two get a brake light switch it’s cheap and simple to change as it takes no tools and this works most of the time for battery drain.

I worked on thousands of these and I call the PT Losers.

IIRC She was T-Boned and that’s when the leaks started. Brake Fluid and Coolant. Not sure what side was hit. Have ask Salamander.

Thank You for the information. I don’t know if it’s a brake hose or steel line. Coolant I’m speculating it’s a heater core hose or s bypass hose.

You hanging in there Shari ?

Still breathing.
Long day with a horrible b it of news.
Driver side.
The cowcatcher shape of the Loser deflected his car.
My hood is wonky now the license plate is crumpled and it hasa ding or two but the headlights are miraculously intact.
More internal than external issues.
Brand new radiator, just had an alignment and new brakes and bang, I find an idiot who has no concept of intersections.
His fancy ass Toyota looked like a train hit it
He could afford a $700k house but not driving lessons.
Go figure.

I am accursed.

Ok, so You’re still leaking Brake Fluid and Coolant, correct ?

And You can’t see exactly where the leaks are at on the vehicle as in the actual location of the damaged parts ?

No I can’t.

It was in February but with everything else I’ve yet to take the car to be checked and get an estimate.

And now it’s even worse than worse.

How much more can I take without snapping?

:(

His car is effed.

My Loser is still going.

And yes I am shocked, too.

Combo of cow catcher front end deflecting him and my crazy fast reaction time saved us.

Sounds like You know the PT like I do Jaguar XJ-6/12’s up through the Series 3’s. I can look at the mileage and drive one around the block and come up with a complete list of all that was needed. From brakes to steering rack mount bushings and everything in between. Made tons of money, too bad I partied it away back in the young and stupid days.

Damned hindsight is always 20/20...

Ok Shari,
For Your SAFETY You need to get the Brake leak FIXED !!! If You get in an accident that’s Your fault because of SUDDENLY NO BRAKES that’s not going to be good !!! At minimum nobody gets hurt and Your Insurance goes up or gets canceled and You’re screwed. So PLEASE GET THE BRAKE FLUID LEAK FIXED !!!

The coolant you can keep adding that and now that winter’s over you could even use water instead of dumping high $$$ antifreeze on the ground.

You need to be proactive about this.

Please get the brake leak fixed...

Yep someone sees one sitting in your yard they know you have to know how to work on one lol. Got a Cruiser sitting in the driveway now with 300 something thousand on it and it looks new.

Had a few Jags LandRovers and Discoverys stopped fooling with them when they started putting Chevy motors in em if I wanted a Chevy I would buy one and save a ton of money...

I keep trying to get the car checked and an estimate done but since
he died, every day all long I have friends and family calling me and giving me new homework and advice.
On the phone on hold most of the day or driving to useless help centers.
I am exhausted and in massive anxiety mode now.
My heart flops around like a landed fish all the time.
Today I found out he had not paid the property taxes and it’ll be listed in the paper Saturday for auction.
They are paid now ( thanks Mom!) but I didn’t know in time for the Tuesday cutoff to avoid the public shaming.
I have no pride left anyway.
