Jack (Klugman) were given powers to
veto jokes and even get writers fired
—He’s since passed away but Bill Daily
said the scripts for I Dream of Jeannie
were absolutely horrible; but the ones
for Bob Newhart show were better
I loved the Bob Newhart shows .
I never noticed. I guess Barbara Eden carried the show.
