So the label no longer features Nathan Bedford Forrest or mentions the “great victory at Chickamauga”?

Long gone. It was originally a Civil War centennial product, distributed 1961-65 in the former Confederate states. Just a relabeled Old Fitgerald, IIRC. I believe it turned into a popular export label, so it was continued past 1965.
