Rainy morning here in southern DE.
We have had beautiful weather here for a few days.
The crops need the rain, so it is welcome.
All our plants here budded early this Spring.
It was a mild winter, no snow, a few super cold days around Christmastime.
The daylilies open around June 1st here usually. They opened a week ago!

Legendary NFL running back Jim Brown, a man who, in his later years, became a friend of mine, died today at 87. He was tough and strong, but always trying to help people in need. That’s how I got to know him. What an athlete, what a man. He will be greatly missed!!!

We were supposed to get rain all week long, sprinkled a few times with lots of thunder, only got one good rainstorm.
