No, never was into belt buckles or cowboy boots for that matter. I did wear pointed cowboy boots when I was working with horses as they make it easier to eject and not get hung on a stirrup, and needed spurs to fit. I still have my spurs, after all these years. I always hoped one of the kids or grands would inherit my passion. I told my daughter if not, just bury me with my spurs.
I will admit boots are good for western dancing or “scooting”. Ha, haven’t done that in years either. Never liked much of country music either other than to dance to.
In my younger years I enjoyed bringing down urban cowboys.
