To me, the key mistake Joe made was to kill the XL (Keystone) Pipeline. Millions of barrels of oil, but only one rail line to move it from ND oil fields to the refineries in the Mississippi Delta. And guess who owns it: one of Joe buddies, Warren Buffet. Look at the price increases for “heavy” items, like milk. Everyone’s distribution costs literally doubled because of that stupid decision. From fertilizers and clothing fabrics to prescriptions, all were impacted by placating the Green People. If numb nuts wants to end pollution, shut down all the factories and force people to walk to work. Oh wait, all the jobs are gone. People need to think this through better than they have thus far.

It was not stupid. It was intelligent and malicious. The Greens truly hate ordinary people, think there are too many of them, and believe the world would be a better place if the population was thinned. They *want* mass famines. They want the survivors to be grateful for their meager government handouts. It makes the serfs so much easier to control.
