This exactly why I often doubt Scriptures. They have been in the hands of the Catholic Church for a long time; and, those blokes can’t seem to settle on what it all means. It isn’t much of a stretch to imagine that they modify Scripture to suit their political & material objectives.

The more early texts they find the more it confirms original scripture.
