All organic molecules contain carbon, nearly all contain hydrogen, and many also contain oxygen.
I think we’re quibbling over the definition of organic. You’re talking organic chemistry and others are talking bout organically sourced. When you think organic, you think carbon. I don’t think that’s what these others are referring to.
