What a great find! Thanks!
I was Bugle Sgt. in the USAF during my 11.5 month tech school in Ground Radio Maintenance and Repair. I was one of those odd ones that spent little time
not in 1st Chair. I’d have given it a shot... back in the day...
It wouldn’t have been quite THAT good, though... ;-)

(Say not this is the truth, but so it seems to me to be, as I see this thing I think I see. #MAGA-AaA)

do they even have buglers anymore? My Marine Corps League used to have buglers attend funerals and play taps. Not anymore. NMo buglers left to do it. It's now a recording.
Speaking of Taps, when I was a little kid, one of the most moving\scary things I heard at the grave-site, was echo taps.
I gave my daughter my trumpet when she was in middle school. She broke her wrist and had a solo contest coming up. She played with a cast and earned a superior medal\ribbon.
I then gave my trumpet to my grandson...told him to keep it.
He didn't show much interest in it. He only joined the band cause his friends did.
FreeRegards...
