Remember that Delaware, Montana and Oregon hav NO sales tax.
Makes the picture of Montana much ‘lighter’ in color...
The table is on income tax:
Montana taxes up to 6.75% on income
Oregon taxes up to 9.9% on income
Delaware taxes up to 6.6% on income
That comes out of one’s paycheck before they can go to the store, buy something and not pay a sales tax. Plus if one has dividends or investment revenue in their income that is taxed by the state at the stated rate also.
