I had a discussion about self-awareness with an old girlfriend in college. After a long while I suggested that she was confusing "selfishness" with "self-awareness."
I don't think we ever spoke again after that conversation.

So - “I think, therefore I am.” is really no longer proof of intelligent existence!?!
Its getting harder and harder to disprove AI doesn’t exist, in some cases.
