I haven’t the time to research but Mattis among others disobeyed or at least covered not following through on CIC wishes. I think pulling out of Syria was one of the instances some Generals rebelled. I’d have to refresh myself.
But I do recall I agreed with Trump 100% of us getting out of that arena and was pissed when they found out certain orders had not been carried out.
