Just another routine black-on-white murder. Nothing newsworthy. /sarc
I don’t believe this story for a second.
there is no way “security” is going to shoot anyone over a $2 item.
I don’t know what the real story is, only this is not it.
What a senseless loss of life.
This is a direct result of the politicization of crime & punishment. The anarchy fostered by leftists is destabilizing our society. America needs a reset of law and order.
Lived in that area for a few years, it’s very nice. Upscale, and generally safe. Unfortunately, it’s very close to Oakland. Plenty of crime spills over from that hellhole. Not sure if that’s what happened in this situation.
I’ll say it. We have a open race war ongoing.
Hate crime.
Oh of course they will say it was a robbery gone bad and they only shot him because he tried to interfere. Yet we really can’t say that for sure, maybe if a black guard would have tried to stop him he would not have been shot.
My point is the law is only applied in one direction…in nearly all cases. Just eliminate the damned law and apply equal Justice fairly…on the action not the intent.
Worked part time at a Home Depot for a year. Loss Prevention training was more than clear and pounded into every employee. NEVER try to stop thieves physically. Radio for a manager, ask to see a receipt, and if they walk out get car description and plate number. Sickening that it’s like that, but those are the rules.
Before it became too dangerous, it was fun to chase these creeps. I worked at a very busy supermarket on the San Francisco peninsula. Even if the perps were faster in a shorter sprint, I used to run the 440 (quarter mile) race. On the track, when you run all out, after about 330 yards your legs, and especially your thighs, begin to feel like lead weights. During the last 50 yards the best method is to make the major effort to lift each thigh as high as possible, thereby not losing more time to the insane fatigue in the legs.
When chasing the perps, they might believe they are ‘getting away’ if, at first, they are not caught by their pursuers. What really surprised, and pissed them off, was that I kept running after them until they tired. Most of the time they would drop whatever they had stolen. If they ever drew a knife, well, they were in no shape to catch me, and did not chase. Fortunately, I left the supermarket position before the perps started carrying firearms.
“The district is a Democrat enclave...”
I’d be curious as to how the dead guy voted in the last Presidential election...and how he’ll vote in future elections.
Knapps, a licensed security guard with a criminal history, had attempted to steal a phone charger
...............................................
Wow! She was able to get licensed for security with a criminal record????? California.
Pictures of the accused.
Several mistakes by the deceased, but more of these things are happening due to increasingly brazen shoplifters. Criminal turned shoplifting into felony murder.
Represented by Eric Swalwell.
