If Glover believes the poem then he believes (white) NASA is spending money for going to the moon with money that should be spent helping poor (blacks). If he believe, then why is he "going to the moon"? Isn't he now guilty of what Scott-Heron’s poem “Whitey on the Moon” says is evil. I.e., isn't he guilty of "going to the moon" at the expense of poor blacks?
The only word that comes to mind is hypocrite. I'm so tired of black racists. If you want to end racism, STOP attaching all your problems to it, when your main problem is in the mirror! It's way past due to put the race card down when you have people like Pete Buttigieg claiming that "racism" has made America’s roads deadly to minorities. We are living in perpetual gas lighting world. It must end!
