Are “prop guns” subject to the same laws as real guns? Maybe I should look into this instead of bothering to get a real gun and deal with its legal processes as the prop gun appears to be just as effective.

I still wonder about the “if” factor, i.e. “if” Baldwin was filming a gun-in-your-mouth suicide scene that fateful day; would he have checked the weapon, or not?
