They grew fiber hemp, not marijuana.
Good stuff, Ct.
Your memes in post 44 are timely. I’ve been feeling sorry for myself the last few days because my favourite bridge tournament of the year started in Gatlinburg yesterday and I have no papers to show that I’m vaccinated, so I’m not allowed to play. Many of my friends and bridge partners are there and I was feeling resentful at TPTB, and even the vaccinated for attending instead of boycotting the biggest tournament of the year to support the unjabbed.
I wanted everyone to feel ashamed for readily showing their papers and getting their wristband proof but I know that, in reality, not enough people contemplate the big picture or make sacrifices for principles. Two of my partners admit that they got vaccinated for expedience. If the governing body came to me now and said take even one jab and you can play this afternoon and the rest of the week, I’d still say no, not just for my own good health, but for freedom and even a bit for history.
Today, I have a bit more peace knowing that the ones who refused to wear the wristbands are the ones standing up to the tyrants. I have the added comfort of knowing that I don’t wake up every morning concerned about myocarditis or turbo cancer. I’ve regained my perspective that this fight is so much bigger than a game, a tournament, or a fun trip with friends.
Your memes got me back on track. Thank you.
