are jeopardy champions smarter than most humans,
or are they just good at regurgitating facts quickly ?
I can correctly answer all the questions, but a second slower than the ‘winner’ am I stupid?
AI is a Buzzword. it does not exist yet.
will it exist in your children lifetime? yes.
Will it be good for humans? perhaps for a few years.
AI will never exist as a true intelligence, that is true.
However, it will have the ability to simulate intelligence to the point where you won’t be able to tell the difference. It’s already writing college papers that professors can’t tell if a paper has been written by a human or ChatGPT, unless the professor runs the paper through a ChatGPT program itself.
I don’t agree with you about the future being so positive under AI.
