The billionaire maintains his attacks on the progressive city, which he and his friends accuse of being lawless and "dangerous."...The Tesla Chief Executive Officer is renewing his attacks on San Francisco and its officials, despite a major setback [Bob Lee murderer] that has undermined the narrative he and his friends have been pushing against this progressive city and tech mecca in recent months.

I believe Elon Musk is a FReeper! He may not be signed on, but he has noted what a great site Jim created and the conservative participants.

After the collapse and the starvation of the leaches, maybe the city can be restored. Maybe not.

The federal government will bail out SF before that happens. Then the U.S. taxpayer will be forced to subsidize the debauchery in SF.

Time to get rid of the “progressive” label and replace it with “Regrssive.” Leftists are advocating segregation, sexually abusing children, adult males being naked around women and children, legal drug abuse, lowering academic standards so idiots feel better about themselves, a widening gap between poor and rich, inflation, regressive taxes on food and energy, endless wars, etc. etc.

The Regressive Party

Re: "It was not a street crime."

True.

But, it is not clear where the story about the killer's sister is coming from.

The Police investigation?

Or, Momeni and his lawyer?

My instincts say the next step in this story will be a claim that Lee threatened to hurt his sister, and that Momeni acted out of fear for her life and preemptively attacked Lee.

Re: Crime drops

Maybe the District Attorney is filing fewer criminal charges?

In New York City, violent crime prosecutions have declined by 40%.

Bragg will campaign on reducing crime by 40%!

Not a street crime.

Who knows if it was really about the sister.

Murders are pretty hard to conceal by the mere failure to prosecute. My point was that they got rid of the most crazed radical.

The article specifically mentions violent crime being down, so I pointed out what is happening in New York, St. Louis, and other Soros-prosecutor cities.

“What is going to have to happen is all of the non-woke companies and people in SF need to leave and accelerate the total collapse of the city.”

Agreed rumor is that SF houses that were selling for $5 million a few years ago are now only worth a few hundred thousand. No one is selling, because they don’t want to take the loss.

Twitter HQ is in a very iffy part of town. That’s more or less homeless central.

Granted, nowhere downtown (where the big office buildings are) is good anymore, especially after dark.

“No one cares what Musk says about anything.”

Millions of people care what he says.

San Francisco has a low rate of serious crime for a city of its size, mostly due to the exportation of its low-income/ghetto population over the past 30 years.

However, the city’s unwillingness to deal with the homeless population has created a massive issue with disorder, filth and petty crime.

It’s not that Bob Lee was stabbed over a woman (which can happen anywhere) it’s that no one sensible in San Francisco was going to help him given the (high probability) that any random person asking for help is a meth-addicted schizophrenic who will do who knows what.

MSN.com is a news aggregator.

They read - and pay for - several hundred news sources every day.

If you want to read and pay for several hundred news sources each day, I will never criticize you.

Rather than supporting MSN why not just post the article?

Why support MSN.com?

The best reason is that you can get past the pay wall at dozens of sites - like WaPo, NYT, WSJ, Politico, USA Today, etc.

TheStreet.com used to be pay walled twenty years ago. I know because I subscribed when I was day trading.

In 2023, it never even occurred to me to look.
