She went on the David Letterman show years ago. I had heard the name but didn’t know anything about her. She showed up in a weird outfit with a mask on for the first ten minutes.
But, after listening to her talk about her business, practicing with all of the dancers, etc. she seemed pretty bright as well as talented. And a hard worker and a fair boss. Not sure why we have to have a presidential committee for the arts, but she might do a good job, except I think she’ll have little patience for the bureaucracy.
I still don’t know any of her songs or stuff though.
While a strange bird and went for shock value early on in her career, I have to say that she is quite talented and can sing a lot of different styles.
