The more chaotic their childhood actually was, the more the temptation to create a childhood later on. And between chaotic family life, Tiger Moms and the sexualization of children, a whole lot of kids are being denied their childhood dreams.

I've always wanted to take the place of Chris, the drummer in the Partridge Family. From the time I was 7 years old, I could already play drums better then him. Yet the Partridge Family bus never came by to whisk me away.
I could even keep the beat to "Point Me In The Direction Of Albuquerque." They wouldn't even have needed a session drummer for the studio.
