I have Canadian unvaxxed friends that just decided to give it a show since they haven’t been to their house in 3 years here. They were never asked at the border about vax status.

That’s great to hear, numberonepal. I’ll be crossing into the U.S. tomorrow to resume my in-person bridge games after a 37 month absence, now that the requirement to be jabbed has been lifted at the discretion of local clubs. My nearest club in Canada still requires that players be jabbed and isn’t the bridge club nearest to me anyway. I’m anticipating the same experience as your 3 friends … no questions.
I think if anyone asks, show them that horrible video of the Dali Lama and that poor kid sucking his tongue. And say, I’m pretty sure Covid is over.
