I didn’t know then what a threat to humanity Bill Gates was/is. It’s galling now to watch him moving among us and pretending to be one of us while he plots our extermination. Calling him out as the megalomaniac that he is may have at least dissuaded him from ever attending a tournament again. Of course, I’d have been disciplined by being suspended or, more likely, banned forever.
I’ve mentioned this before but I remain incensed so I’ll repeat it. When live bridge tournaments started again after being suspended for covid, the governing body for the game required covid vaccinations in order to attend, and proof of jab status had (and still has) to be presented. From time to time, I review tournament results that are posted online to see how my friends are doing and I noted that Gates had attended the National Championships in December 2021. He must have presented forged/false vaccination proof in order to be there because we here all know that there’s no way he’d ever take those jabs or any others. His own children aren’t vaccinated for anything. He also played in the Nationals in New Orleans last month, a tournament I very much wanted to play in.
