Thieves Steal 5 TONS Of Dimes Worth $200K From Back Of Truck In Walmart Parking Lot
(snip) Police in Philadelphia are on the lookout for 10 or more males suspects who are responsible for breaking into the back of a unmarked truck and stealing approximately $200,000 worth of dimes.
That’s right. The thieves had to haul away FIVE TONS of dimes – two million of them – just to make around $200K in the robbery.
Philadelphia police reported that the truck contained about $750,000 in dimes in it on 15 pallets each containing $50,000 worth of dimes.
