Why is Book Depository closing? What happened to Amazon’s online shop and how long you can buy books

Thanks for the link. Curious, I went to the About page and learned NOTHING about the service. But I learned plenty about its wokeness.

One look at that page and I have no problems with it going outta business.

Lots of others in the bookseller biz to take their place.

I’ve never heard of The Book Depository. So I checked it out and found one book at three times the price at Amazon.

Many peeples hadn’t heard of HalfBay.com, but there were many others (including me) that were upset when eBay (the owner) shut it down. HalfBay was an excellent place for cheap, used music, books and movies. A lot of that business probably eventually migrated over to eBay, but by then, the thrill had gone.

And Ebay and Aliexpress have a cheaper competitor now that sop far has checked out cheaper and considerate, https://www.temu.com. Made some small purchases (like bike handle grips and seat covers) and rcvd. two $5 credits due to late arrivals (they came), but which shipping time was normal for such as Ebay. Thank God we can even get such.
