He was President for four years. Were you asleep from 2017 through 2020? Did you ever hear him propose a solution? It’s not like the problem popped up out of nowhere.
And Obama was President for 8 years, and George W. Bush for 8 years before that, then Bill Clinton for 8 years before that...yada, yada, yada. Did any of them bother to deal with the fact that they've been talking about the insolvency of Social Security for at least the past 50 years, if not more? Not that I recall, but you only point out Trump, who was under assault each, and every day of his Presidency, and then had his second term stolen from him, because Democrats didn't want him to try to solve any more problems. Where was Congress during all those years? Did they do anything other than raising the age of retirement, in order to try to keep Social Security from becoming insolvent?
