I’m the exact same way. Last time I went my car was towed (took my family there for “vacation” what a joke that turned out to be) and I had to pay like 300 to get it back. It was an organized city racket. When I got a taxi to take me to retrieve the car it was yuuuge! People were moving through cattle like ropes in a line “kachong kaChong kachong” money noises, hundreds of cars were impounded..maybe more!
There was no sign saying I could not park so I demanded a traffic cop show me and there was ONE sign suspiciously placed behind a tree …what a scam.

Same here. I moved from a metro area to rural TN 11 months ago, and seldom return to high- or medium- population areas now. I've returned to a metro area only two times since moving, and that was just to visit SAMS to add to my emergency stockpiles.
