Then we can use them in our flying cars, too.

On one hand, it’s embarrassing that you never see developments by Americans anymore. On the other hand, these developments never seem to pan out at all.

A research team led by POSTECH professors Soojin Park (Department of Chemistry) and Youn Soo Kim (Department of Materials Science and Engineering) and Professor Jaegeon Ryu (Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering) of Sogang University... Stop right there.
POSTECH.
PIECE OF SH*T TECH.
No way this is real or ever comes to fruition. We've heard these claims dozens of times before. All were b.s.

And not too long ago, Rogan had a guy on his show that filmed inside one of the mines. Not good.
As for the headline...boosting range 10-fold...maybe. Or maybe, give me some money. Lots of it so I can continue my R&D.
If I end up hitting a snag or Pres Trump wins...as he should..in 2024 and he removes all the government funded incentives...as he should and stated he would do...to promote EVs, potentially crushing the EV market, we’ll still continue our work, but we can’t make any promises. Perhaps Congress will bail all of the investors out.

I’d rather see technology that makes them 1/10 the cost.

If it weren't for taxpayer subsidies and government mandates on orders from the globalists at the WEF, EVs wouldn't be anywhere near its stated growth except in applications where they are feasible.
Also, nobody cares about the African children who are digging up rare Earth materials with their bare hands for the batteries.

Because most of them are nothing but marketing schemes and snake oil sales pitches.
When they go belly up, the investors cry to the government for bailouts and stand a good chance of getting them.
If Wall St or someone else doesn’t step up, then they run to Uncle Sam and find someone that will give them a loan or grant, something they don’t have to worry about paying back, and nothing. They get rich off the taxpayer and we lose...IE Solyndra.

None of this technology makes any sense whatsoever as long as utility companies must rely on fossil fuels to create the electricity needed to recharge the batteries. The only way it makes sense is as a frog in pot manipulation to eventually lead to transport systems which do not allow for or rely upon individual vehicles/drivers making individual independent decisions. IOW, loss of freedom.

I will be laughing all the way to the bank when I finish my AC batteries. All I need is a few billion in taxpayer funded grants and bureaucratic mandates forcing the people to buy my products.
