Was that the one which also had Clifton Webb and Fred MacMurray, where several executives are brought to New York to interview for the job of President of the company? A twist ending but very satisfying and well worth the time to watch it. Too bad that movies like that, “Laura” and “Twelve Angry Men” aren’t made any longer although “Margin Call” and “Draft Day” come close.o
I think I saw that movie many years ago. I will have to see it again. If Rod Serling wrote it, it has to be good.
Similar in some ways to Executive Suite. Fredric March could have played the bad guy on both movies. Suite had two interesting female characters in Allyson and Stanwyck, but Van's wife in Patterns was detrimental to the film, in my view.
Kind of slow but interesting. Hudson made 3 or 4 really interesting movies.
Great drama. Launched Rod Serling’s carrer.
