I quit vaccinating my goats this year for that very reason. But it is definitely worrisome about the dogs/cats. My farm vet is against the Covid vax, I am going to talk to her about all this.
I injured my finger working on the coop (nasty environment to get a cut) and went to urgent care for a tetanus shot. I made them show me the vial, it was mfg in 2015.
*well “made them” seems a bit strong, I asked nicely 😂
Good for you....great idea, with all shots, these days.
I’m going to ask our vet (small town, old school vet) to please show me the vials, if possible, as well (not sure if the shots come pre-loaded) .. and, only getting the ‘core’ shots, rather than the LONG list they now recommend, for dogs.
