I understood Tucker to say that they asked Abbott....the only one who could pardon Perry....but, Abbott’s office offered up Paxton.

Tucker producers didn’t want Paxton....as he doesn’t have pardon power.

I may have that wrong, but, that’s how I heard it.

Shame on Abbott, regardless.
