The 60 mInutes “treatment” (let’s be honest that wasn’t an interview) of MTG was illuminating. It’s telling some of her strongest responses were relegated to their 60minOT segment online.
Lesley Stahl couldn’t contain her distain/bias for a minute, which is why the OT segment on “media” was interesting.
While touting up front how MTG’s gained attention “It’s rare for a member of Congress to gain Nat’l attention” Stahl says somehow without laughing during the intro, she waits until nearly the middle of the broadcast edit to reveal that MTG was stripped of all her committee assignments when first elected in ‘2020.
I give MTG credit for taking this on. As I tweeted earlier today, I sincerely hope she had a crew taping as well. I’d love to see what was edited out because this was chopped up quite a bit.
