It’s a very debated topic and ultimately SCOTUS may rule on it.

I believe that's exactly what it's going to take. It needs to be codified one way or the other, once and for all.

For some reason, every time I contemplate that idea, Clarence Thomas comes to mind. I think he would be a great one to write that type of judicial Opinion.

I’m confident that Thomas would rule in favor of my originalist interpretation.
If ordinary law can change the terms used in the Constitution then Congress could pass a law declaring everyone in the world to be a Natural Born Citizen and get around the Constitution entirely without an Amendment.
