I use the Himalayan salt....as for bread...spouse bakes 3 or 4 loaves on demand....comes out as brown bread.

Spouse uses a mixture of:

All purpose white flour
Bahakari wheat flour
Organic Durum Atta whole wheat flour
about a cup of ground oats,
