It does occur to me, however (and given the Gateway Pundit theory that the snake, Andrew Weissmann, might be involved), that AW might be planning to resurrect the federal elections charge in order to tie it to the NYC Bragg prosecution.

There is really nothing confusing about the ongoing saga. The globalists, DS & S0r0s had their operation in full swing to take control of the Republic away from the people and give it to HRC for final destruction. Donald Trump emerged, throwing sand into the gears of their machine -- but no problem, political pundits assured all the plotters that HRC was going to win overwhelmingly.
Oooops! Wha' happened? Well, just fight and discredit DJT at every turn and the shallow-minded populace will abandon him incrementally. INSTEAD, the 'war' has turned deeply serious: the people vs the globalist contributors.
Q exposed the cabal and honed an image of populism vs the globalist elite. That vision spread variously across the world: Hong Kong, Britain, Europe, Australia - and the US. The global cabal has unlimited wealth but the populists have unlimited resolve and collective resources.
Despite numerous victories, the global elite feel their grip slipping. Now they are pulling out all the stops, discarding any appearance of adhering to the rules, embracing many forms of indecency and corruption. They have found, in the US for example, a substantial portion of poorly educated, poorly informed 'inhabitants' willing to foolishly discard their rights and freedoms - partly in service to the irrational, propaganda driven Trump Derangement Syndrome... people who have a concept of 'rights' but no foundation from where they derive or what purposes they serve.
Thus the battle lines are drawn: a wealthy, vicious unprincipled elite vs a broad, loosely organized, populism cadre dedicated (at least to some point) to preserving the American historical Singularity known as government of the people, by the people and for the people - Shall not perish from the Earth!
