I am okay with him as Sec Def in next Trump administration.
It's fitting for a military commander to think the military option can provide favorable results.
It's up to the President to make the final decisions.
Of course, as I have already stated, no other candidate besides PDJT will receive my vote for POTUS, in either the primary or the general election...even if I have to write in his name.

Something smells odd that Pompeo is blowing his horn in Kiev and running for the nomination.
Trump has been silent on loyalists and disloyalists.
If Pomp were deemed loyal and trustworthy he wouldn’t have to campaign for Trump’s ticket. He was a fine Sec of State, but never defended Trump after the Biden installation. Now he bustles to Kiev, to support a proxy war run by Obama-Biden.
