True that. There are a fair amount of small appliances made to run on DC power for RV’s. I’ve read of a few hard-core off-grid types with almost an entire small house of DC appliances. But that was before inverters had today’s relatively low loss of power during conversion (from DC to AC). Now that inverters do their job much more efficiently the conversion loss makes DC powered appliances less of a need -— until an EMP.
Yep, and didn’t even think about campers. Best to get the hardware before it dries up, as campers will likely go much more AC, due to the availability of Chinese Inverters.
