Yeah, but confusion and distraction work both ways. Tough call whether to shut it off or not.

Tell you the truth, watching the video got even MY adrenaline flowing to where I didn’t notice the alarm much after a minute or two. Imagine THEIR adrenaline levels!

situational awareness is diminished as brain has to filter it out

harder to tell where sounds come from

not hearing some things at all
