But the first layer of defense is avoidance/dissuasion. The first layer of defense is to avoid this whole situation in the first place by ensuring every POS that even thinks about doing this knows that we will do everything possible to take you alive, and then exact some VERY VERY bad and VERY slow judgement on your physical body - and you die at the end. And your face and name will never be mentioned, but your mangled/dismembered/half eaten/boiled/or oubliette trapped body will be shown widely and publicly.
Until we get back to this point as a society, this will continue and grow

I told my beloved husband if there’s ever a class on How-To and Not-How-To then these two particular police departments would be the ones shown.
To this day I still cringe when thinking of the acts of cowardice the Uvalde Police Dept showed. Only one policeman was truly wanting in there and his wife was in that school. I am inclined to think, however, he would be the type to go in there even if he had no family in there. Strength and courage are there in the person or not.....

I guess it is naive of me to think that the federal government will play ANY hand in helping to bring a end to these atrocities where beautiful little 9 year old children are heartlessly murdered, when they actually train, equip and participate in planning these things. I wouldn’t bet against the FBI or other gov agency being involved in TN as well.

All Police Departments and Sheriffs’ Offices should, regularly do “Active Shooter” Training. As far as, I’m concerned these guys did an excellent job! Because, they saved children’s lives; unlike those cowards in Florida and Texas! It ain’t Fallujah but they done good!
