History records the Roman Empire in its decadent period as a bad joke. Historians, including Gibbon, observe Rome in near-disbelief as they describe its absurd and astonishing excesses.
In the race to the bottom, the Decadence of Western Civilization is making giant strides in outdoing Rome.
Decadent Americans already advocate infanticide, pedophilia and other forms of sexual perversion, racism, corrupt government, defunding the police, election fraud, robbery, and the entrapment and incarceration of political prisoners. What other evils will they endorse? Geronticide? Slavery? Torture? Murder and torture as public entertainment?
Remember: There is no limit to the depth of human depravity. History is full of examples--and proof.
Based on several verses in the Bible, I believe that slavery will make a comeback — and the left will be the promoters and pushers.
Of course it won’t called called “slavery”; the left will think of some morally neutral euphemism.
