In a new TikTok video, actor Stanley Tucci shared a recipe for a pasta casserole using leftovers, and didn’t hold back as he ate it for breakfast at a ripe 10 a.m.
Tucci, 62, filmed the video from his eclectic kitchen, explaining that he had leftover Farfalle pasta and had decided to repurpose it.
“I sautéed garlic, onion, panchetta, and some peas, and then put them into a little casserole dish, baking dish, with the pasta and then Besciamella – Besciamella sauce – and mixed it all up with little things of butter on top and parmigiano,” he said in the clip. Wearing his signature glasses and a sweater draped over his shoulders, the “Searching for Italy” star stood by his toaster oven and slid out the perfectly baked, delicious-looking pasta.

My Mom was like that. She loved to eat everything, especially Italian, but she wasn't overweight.
I'm much more like my Dad when it comes to food. I never eat anything unless I'm hungry for it. I skip a lot of meals, even dinners, because I'm just not hungry alot of times. It feels natural to me.

I’m pretty good at regulating my food intake, but I haven’t come across much I don’t find appetizing. About the only things are cold cereal, processed OJ, and diet soft drinks.

The practice is an aberration in Italy. A poor household’s dish to feed a hungry family. There are many variations.
It is NOT Italian cuisine.
I was also deeply impressed that Mr. Tucci creates gourmet quality food in an all electric, energy efficient and environmentally friendly kitchen.

That alone is more cooking than virtually anyone under the age of 30 is willing to do these days. Heck, most people theses days under 40 are loathe to cook anything - even a box mix of something. It's either drive-thru, takeout, or "Hello, Uber Eats?..."
