I often wish there were large categories of food I “hated.” I enjoy pretty much everything.

My Mom was like that. She loved to eat everything, especially Italian, but she wasn't overweight.

I'm much more like my Dad when it comes to food. I never eat anything unless I'm hungry for it. I skip a lot of meals, even dinners, because I'm just not hungry alot of times. It feels natural to me.

Sardines, Mayo, sharp cheddar, on lightly toasted sour dough. Now that’s breakfast that’ll put hair on your chest.

I’m pretty good at regulating my food intake, but I haven’t come across much I don’t find appetizing. About the only things are cold cereal, processed OJ, and diet soft drinks.

PEAS???

I wish him the best in cancer recovery, but peas in pasta is SACRILIGE!

The practice is an aberration in Italy. A poor household’s dish to feed a hungry family. There are many variations.

It is NOT Italian cuisine.

I was also deeply impressed that Mr. Tucci creates gourmet quality food in an all electric, energy efficient and environmentally friendly kitchen.

Sounds like something an older and wiser person would take the time to put together.

“I sautéed garlic, onion, panchetta,

That alone is more cooking than virtually anyone under the age of 30 is willing to do these days. Heck, most people theses days under 40 are loathe to cook anything - even a box mix of something. It's either drive-thru, takeout, or "Hello, Uber Eats?..."
