I took over the (multi-generational) family meal planning a little while ago ... combed thru our many (many!) cookbooks and made up a big list (with family input) & then on the weekend I use that to make the weekly menu and store list. My daughter usually does the food shopping (which I have always hated!) & we switch off on who cooks. The kidlets also have their own mix & match list to plan out their lunches (we home-school) and snacks.
I’ll have to re-boot the list in a couple of months, but we’re good for quite some time.

We had leftovers, veal Marsala over angel hair pasta, which I made a big batch of two days ago. Instead of asparagus and a salad, we had artichokes with hollandaise sauce. Darn good eatin’, though I could use a great lasagna recipe. Mine never tastes as good as the ones that I’ve had with Italian families. If you have a recipe you could share, feel free to PM me.
