*You willing to get your son slaughtered for Rwanda or Khymer Rouge?* Nope.
*This article is just neocon romance.* It quotes a book by one Wayne E. Lee-showing off his ‘romantic’ intellectualism. Very good Rhino.

What would China do to Japan post WW2 without our occupation? Payback.

Pershing missiles in Germany under US control-the wrong thing? They objected.

Something tells me we’d be a lot more prosperous if we let the world’s belligerents kill each other off. An independent Kurdistan would need our weapons-too busy to fight the Jooz or bring on a 9/11. Normandy took 2+ years to prepare for allowing the Russians and Krauts more time to carve each other up. ‘Asia For The Asians’ seemed fair with the Japanese as the big brother. While the rest of the world takes a $hit 2 oceans protected us.

Speaking of Jooz one friend told me that at the beginning of every year 7 of them get together in Geneva and decide where to start a war. Getting to the point where one wonders?

The US was pretty prosperous in the 50’s. The world was destroyed and needed our manufactured items. A destroyed Japan started over and overtook us in the 80’s. Germany didn’t advance as much because it wasn’t destroyed ENOUGH.

Occupying Japan and Germany after they declared war in us seems like “rattlesnake “ to me. A 7 foot Diamondback…but there can only be a Kurdistan by us attacking Syria and breaking on off a chunk. That’s not our job and they were not under abuse from Assad until we unleashed Isis.

This is kind of a straw man. Nobody is suggesting utter isolationism. But the days of manic running around the world starting fights everywhere simply has to end. Our reputation is trashed and people no longer associate America with spreading freedom, and we would need 33 trillion just to say we are flat broke.
Globalism and empire is evil.

Our recent adventures have crashed the European economy, unleashed wars in Libya and Syria, and the wave of worldwide migration, unleashed a horrifying war on WWII eastern front battlefields, set off hunger of poor areas, killed millions and massively destabilized America at home… it had wasted the respect we used to have.

It has to stop for a while

In 1849, Bastiat proclaimed "I shall not hesitate to vote for disarmament because I do not believe in invasions." Yet, what would he do if Russia again invaded France? “I sincerely believe that the best thing we could do would be to receive them well, to give them a taste of the sweetness of our wines, to show them our stores, our museums, the happiness of our people, the mildness and equality of our penal laws, after which we should say to them: Return as quickly as possible to your steppes and tell your brothers what you have seen.”

I have always admired Bastiat for his pro-freedom manifesto The Law. I never knew that he was a cheese-eating surrender monkey.

Rhino-you are very good.

“Attacking Syria and breaking off a chunk.” No need to. Start with breaking off a chunk of Iraq, something Senator Biden suggested. Arm the Kurds in Iran. Kurds in Syria and Turkey will violently follow. They will all be too busy to bring their conflicts here.

“Starting fights everywhere”. Agreed but they will start without our help. We get ahead when we pick up the pieces. R we popular vultures?

Libya-blame the left(Hillary). Eastern Europe-not if Trump’s in office. Same with the southern border. The answer is not to stop it for awhile. The answer is a return to Trump. How confident are the freepers here? Count me a skeptic.

We have no vital interest in Ukraine; by arming them we are inviting a response from those we help kill.

We - the people - have no vital interest in Ukraine. But corrupt 'elites' of the world from George Soros, Joe Biden, John Kerry etc etc etc... and probably half the democrats in DC DO have vital interest.

And 'elites' are willing to risk war and our lives to keep the place they launder their money - open.

Being “allied” with half the nations of the world and “isolationism” are not the only two options.
