My experience in the workplace over many years is that if everyone quit mansplaining, commerce, science and industry would slow down and crawl to a halt.
My thoughts exactly.
But the harpies in HR would make sure you used correct pronouns, knew all your DEI tenets, and how to lodge complaints against people who offend you. That surely would produce product, no?
When I was working in electronic manufacturing 20 years ago there were 2 women “engineers” that watched over the mechanical assembly area. I worked in machine maintenance and would often have to fabricate temporary jigs/tooling for proto builds. The engineers brought a torx screw and an allen wrench and wanted me to modify the allen wrench to work with the torx screw. They were amazed when I produced a torx bit from the tool bin. They didn’t know one existed.
