The sheeple will buy into anything. Of course other governments attempt to influence election outcomes in other countries. We do it too.

I remember when Obama went to Israel and gave a speech endorsing who was ever running against Netanyahu at the time. And I also believe we attempted to influence the election outcome in Ukraine in the past, too.
